Wendy Aldred

Wendy Aldred is a Wellington barrister specialising in health law and public law. Wendy has 23 years experience as a medico-legal practitioner and regularly advises NZACA and healthcare providers in relation to contractual matters, the application of health legislation, the management of complaints and issues of capacity. She has extensive litigation experience in the general courts at all levels, as well as the Human Rights Review Tribunal and the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. Wendy has also acted on numerous occasions as an independent investigator into complaints and disciplinary matters. She writes for Excellence in Care and other legal and health publications
