Martin Hefford has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive of the interim entity until a permanent Chief Executive is appointed and commences. Martin has 30 years’ experience working across the health system at a variety of roles. He is committed to building a compassionate, equitable and efficient health system. Martin’s background is in health leadership, service planning and delivery. Previous roles include General Manager Integrated Care at Counties Manukau, Group Manager Mental Health in the Central Regional Health Authority, Senior Locality Manager at the Health Funding Authority and Chief Operating Officer at Capital & Coast DHB.
