Presentation: Advocacy, lobbying and its place in the new normal

Bryce was the CEO for a national level non-government statutory body for a long time, until his recent retirement.

Throughout his career Bryce has had extensive involvement in advocacy, lobbying and media engagement at central government level in the conservation, environment and outdoor recreation arena. He has also served on various government panels and committees.

Bryce has an academic background in ecological science, agricultural science and wildlife management.

Bryce has also been a co-owner of two rest homes, including one retirement village. He was an executive member of the New Zealand Licenced Rest Homes Association (this Association pre-dated the New Zealand Aged Care Association).

Bryce was awarded the CNZM in the Queen’s honours list this year for services to conservation and the environment.
