Terry Huntley

Terry Huntley has been interRAI Software Services Manager since July 2017. Terry came to interRAI Services from the Ministry for the Environment, where he was the Business Relationship Manager in the Ministry’s IT team. Terry brings lots of experience in software services and relationship management across a variety of sectors including ICT, government agencies and general customer services.

Workshop Session 1: interRAI Innovations Post COVID-19

The interRAI Services team from TAS will present on their multifaceted, innovative response to COVID-19. The pressure of the worsening pandemic produced diamonds at interRAI Services, as the team put big ideas into action. The entire education and support team pivoted to transform classroom learning into distance learning, enabling greatly continued access for clinicians. Our technology and data analytics teams generated an algorithm that leveraged interRAI data to help identify people most vulnerable to COVID-19, and passed the outputs on to DHBs. Finally, a cross-agency agreement allowed for training several hundred final-year nursing students to deliver interRAI assessments, to help assess the needs of those most vulnerable to the pandemic.
